Act East : Transitions in India's Engagement with South Korea

"The present volume, Act East: Transitions in India's Engagement with South Korea, is an outcome of a two-day international seminar organized by the RASK last year at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, in October 2017, wherein a range of economic, political strategic, social and culutral issues were deliberated upon. The chapters, including the keynote Address, divided into three Sections, reflect South Korea's vulnerability to challengers not only on account of troubled relationsips in the neighbourhood but also to climate changes. While the focus is on resolving issues with North Korea, the book also contains some comparative studies which provide scope for learning from each other's experiences. The Editors would like to recorded their gratitude and appreciation to the Academy of Korean Studies for the financial assistance in the publication of this volume."
